Take Back Ware is quite special though because it is made in part from upcycled shaving blades that we collected via the Albatross Blade Take Back Program.
Single use disposable cutlery or "compostable" plastics.
The same way you use any cutlery, simply use, wash and keep with you on the go!
Wash and dry per normal. We recommend making sure the cutlery is fully dry before putting into carrying case.
Made in part from upcycled shaving blades that are collected via the Albatross Blade Take Back Program. The razor blades collected get melted down into molten steel and combined with new steel to make Take Back Ware. As such, Albatross recently set the ambitious goal of getting back 100% of the blades we sell; this level of circular use is exactly the type of Big Systems shift we seek to create with this product.
Albatross Designs is a design company focused on creating products that yield a positive environmental benefit. They started in 2016 with the goal of "Eliminating Plastic from Shaving," and since then, they have been immensely satisfied with the overwhelming willingness of all types of people from around the world who have given Zero Waste Shaving a try. They offer a blade take back program where they upcycle used, double edged safety razor blades.
Stainless steel is meant to last a lifetime, however, it is infinitely recyclable in metal recycling streams.
Hemp bag can be composted. Paper box can be recycled.
