Refilling your Essential Mascara is as easy as 1-2-3. Simply purchase your Essential Mascara refill and follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Remove your current wand from your empty mascara tube. It's essential to wash your mascara wand thoroughly before reuse. Simply wash with hot water and soap until all of the excess product is removed, then spray with isopropyl alcohol to sanitize. Ensure the brush has dried completely before putting it into your refill.
Step 2: Once your wand is clean and dry, unscrew the cap of your Essential Mascara refill.
Step 3: Carefully insert your clean and dry mascara wand into the refill tube.
That's it! You've just added a new mascara into your routine without bringing in any excess packaging.
How to wash out your old mascara tube for responsible recycling:
Step 1: Begin by removing the black rubber wiper from the top of the mascara tube. This is a snug fit, but comes out easily with a little force.
Step 2: Use warm water, soap, and a reusable straw cleaning brush to scrub the excess mascara from the tube.
Step 3: Responsibly recycle your clean glass tube in your household recycling or through our recycling program.
