Enjoy peace of mind knowing that your children will not be exposed to hazardous chemicals like phthalates, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or artificial pigments found in mass produced art supplies. Instead, many of the ingredients are edible, including thickeners made of rice and potato starch; pigments made of powdered fruit, vegetables and minerals, and binders made of (milk) gum Arabic and powdered eggs.

eco-kids began in 2008 in Maine by its founders Kip and Cammie Weeks. Their first product was eco-dough, a natural nontoxic alternative to Playdough. Over the next few years they expanded to include several more natural, plant-based, eco-friendly packaged creative tools and art supplies for kids.
